IN FOSTER IN BOURNEMOUTH

Pippa is a lovely girl – please dont let her age put you off; she has plenty of life in her!  She’s fit and healthy and loves a good walk.  She gets on well with other dogs but she expects them to mind their manners – if they get in her face she’ll tell them off.  There is no malice in her and she isnt aggressive – its just a warning to respect her dignity!

Pippa adores her people and needs to be with them.  She does have separation anxiety and hates to be left alone – so she will need a home where someone is with her.  If left she will bark, cry and pace.  She will need a home where she isnt shut away from her people at night – she will settle in her bed, but needs to know she can reach you.

Pippa has a strong prey drive and cannot live with cats or small furries – for this reason she also cannot be let offlead unless in a secure area.  Her recall isnt bad at all, but if she sees something small and furry she’ll take off and go deaf!  She’s quite happy on a longline so that she has space to explore but her handler keeps control.
