This handsome lad is Odin.  He’s a smaller sized German Shepherd and is really quite elegant.  He gets on well with other dogs of all sizes, and is gentle and affectionate. He loves to do zoomies round the garden – who wouldnt!  He thinks he’s a lap dog and will snuggle on your lap if he can!

Odin does show signs of past rough handling – he will flinch if you move suddenly or raise a hand quickly and sudden loud noises worry him.  He is completely non-aggressive – he doesnt have a bad bone in him.  He doesnt like to be left alone, he will panic – he can be left with a large calm dog quite happily.  Small dogs dont have the same comfort factor for him.  He’s not really interested in playing with other dogs – in fact he doesnt really know how to play although he does try!  But he does take reassurance from larger dogs.

Odin is looking for a calm home, where he can be taken on lots of good walks – he’s a dream to walk – and where he will rarely be left.  Although he is gentle and gets on well with children, he does really need a quiet home, so any children would need to be older.
