IN FOSTER IN BOURNEMOUTH
Winnie is such a beautiful girl, who hasnt had an easy life recently. As a result she was very nervous of strangers and new situations. She wasnt in the best condition – she was underweight and her coat was poor; she appears to have had puppies fairly recently which may account for her poor condition. She had a nasty cauliflower ear, which she will be seeing our vet for soon.
Despite this, Winnie has blossomed into a sweet natured, loving, happy girl. She loves her walks and walks nicely on lead; she does amazing zoomies! She loves a tummy rub, and generally just adores everyone.
Winnie gets on great with other dogs, and would love a doggy companion to play with – however, any dogs in the home must be of a similar size; she can play rough and doesnt always know when to stop. She would be too much for small dogs. She loves children, but can sometimes forget herself when playing and “mouth” – for this reason any children will need to be older.
Winnie will be looking for an active home where she’ll get plenty of good quality walks, and where someone is home most of the time – she can be left for a couple of hours, but she struggles for longer than this.
If you think you could offer Winnie the home she deserves, please fill in the form below. Homecheck and £225 adoption donation applies, and you’ll need to be able to meet her in her foster home.
WE’VE BEEN OVERWHELMED WITH APPLICATIONS FOR WINNIE AND ARE CURRENTLY WORKING THROUGH THEM – WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW ONES FOR HER.
