Maddie was owned by a backyard breeder who moved to a smaller house and needed to rehome some of his dogs.  Maddie is very sweetnatured, but until coming to us had known little or nothing of the outside world.

Maddie has grown in confidence, but can become anxious when left – even if you are just in another room.  She will often pee or poo in panic unless crated or with someone as company.  She’s an affectionate little lass who loves cuddles.  She doesnt really understand play – she likes a nice calm household.  She’s a little worried still about having her harness on, but once on she is fine – she loves her walks and loves to run.

Maddie is clean in the house now, unless she gets stressed because she cant find you – however when she first goes to a new home she will need reminding.

Maddie could live with another calm, friendly dog, but wouldnt want to live with a bouncy exciteable dog.  She could live with respectful older children who understand that she needs time to come to terms with new things, and respect her need for quiet.  She isnt cat tested so we will not be looking to place her where there are cats or small furries.
