IN FOSTER IN GATESHEAD

Little Lucy is a lively lady who loves to play all day long – she has a lot of energy and will definitely need an active home that can take her on adventures!  She gets on well with other dogs and would certainly benefit from a doggy friend to play and snuggle with in her new home, but she can be full on, so any other dogs in the home will need to match her energy or she will annoy them!

Lucy has a lot of terrier traits and a strong prey drive, so no cats or small furries please.

Lucy is fearful of strange children and will hide and cower from them.  She trusts the children in her foster home, but to give Lucy her happiest home we would prefer older children only.

Although her confidence has hugely improved in her time with us Lucy is still anxious with strangers and in new environments.  Her potential adopters must be willing to meet her several times to gain her trust.  She will need a calm, patient home that will give her space in the early days while she’s finding her feet.  It doesnt take long to gain her trust, and once she gives her heart she is the most loving little dog.

Come on – Lucy is waiting!  To apply, please fill in the application form below.  Homechecks and £225 adoption donation applies, and you’ll need to meet her in her foster home.
