IN FOSTER IN BOURNEMOUTH, DORSET

Kuro is a handsome lad with a rather troubled past.  He didn’t receive proper lead training as a pup and is extremely strong on the lead as a result.  When he first came to us he would puppy mouth when over excited – there is no malice, only play, but due to this we will not consider homes with young children.  He loves children, but he could accidentally hurt them.

Kuro loves people and really wants to please – he just doesnt always know what you want.  But he’s keen to learn; he has an active mind and a very active body.  He can live happily with other dogs.  He takes no notice of cats so far.

Kuro had some hair loss on his legs and belly.  He has been seen by a vet who believes it was stress related, due to being left for very long periods in his first home.  He is on a grain free diet with added oily fish, and his fur has now regrown.

Kuro is looking for a home that is experienced with his breed, with plenty of energy and able to help him learn.  Due to his age and the inadvisability of neutering this breed too early, Kuro will leave us on a neutering contract – neutering will be the responsibility of his new owner when he is old enough.  Any potential adopter must bear this in mind, and we will follow up to ensure that its done.

If you think you could offer Kuro the home he needs, please fill in the form below.  Homecheck and £225 adoption donation will apply.
