Chico has lived a life where he was much loved, but treated rather like a child substitute rather than being allowed to be a dog.  When he first arrived he was very nervous and afraid of other dogs, cats, men, and loud noises. 

Chico has now regained his lost confidence and is a happy little lad who gets on well with people.  He still isnt a fan of other animals – he’s not scared of them anymore, he simply doesnt want to share his humans!  For this reason we would like him to be the only pet.  He loves children – his best friend is a young girl in his foster home. 

Chico now enjoys his walks – provided its not raining!  He may not have the Lhasa confidence, but he has full measure of his breeds stubborn-ness – if you ask him to walk in the rain he’ll lay down flat and refuse to move!  Unfortunately his weather sense does also extend to toilet training – if its wet outside, he’s not going out there.  All is not lost – he is very good about using puppy pads.

If you’re looking for a companion thats happy with a potter in the garden, or even if you dont have one – please consider Chico.  All he wants is a loving home, and he has a lot of love to give in return.
