IN FOSTER NEAR BASINGSTOKE, HAMPSHIRE

Boris has already had two homes in his short life.  He’s a worried little lad who takes time to connect to people.  Once he does, he bonds very strongly.

In his last home Boris became a very loving little chap.  However, once his owners work pattern changed Boris couldnt cope – he was used to his people being home all day, and developed separation anxiety, becoming destructive when left.  He also became worried on walks, wanting to get home where he felt safe.

Boris is doing well with us but he will definitely need a patient owner willing to give him the time and space he needs to accept new people.  He will need a playful confident doggy friend in his new home – he is far happier with other dogs than with people, and seeing his dog friend interacting with people will encourage him to follow their lead.   He has so far not shown separation anxiety with us, but that doesnt mean it wont happen again in his new home once he is settled – we can help with advice on managing this.

Boris is a clever, active chap who loves to play – both with humans and with dogs.  He needs an experienced home, who can help him recover his lost confidence and shine again.

If you would like to apply for Boris please fill in the form below – please be aware that you will need to visit him more than once to allow him to get used to you.  Homecheck and £250 adoption donation applies.

PLEASE NOTE – BORIS IS IN FOSTER IN OUR SOUTHERN BRANCH AND WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS IN THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND FOR HIM.
