IN FOSTER IN NEWCASTLE.  PLEASE NOTE THAT PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS IN THE NORTH OF THE COUNTRY ALTHOUGH OTHER AREAS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

This lovely frosty face gentleman has come to us after his owner passed away.  He really is a delightful older chap.

Billy does have a touch of arthritis as can be expected in an older dog.  He has a bit of a sensitive tummy but does well on James Welbeloved food, which is widely available.  He adores people including children, although due to his age we would prefer older sensible children, just because he is an older lad and deserves some peace in his twilight years.

Billy gets on fine with most dogs and has a lot of doggy friends, but has taken exception to one dog in foster so suitable introductions would need to be carried out.  He does prefer calm dogs.  He still enjoys a nice walk and a game or two.

Billy does have seperation anxiety – he was never apart from his original owner, so this is understandable.  He cannot be left even for short periods, and cant tolerate being crated, so his adopter will need to make provision for this.  At his age, its not likely that he will be able to overcome this.

If you think you could give Billy his perfect retirement home please do get in touch.  Homecheck and £250 adoption donation will apply, and you will need to be able to meet Billy in his foster home.
