IN FOSTER IN GATESHEAD
Bailey came to us as a very worried, unsocialised lad. He is slowly learning that life outside of four walls doesnt have to be scary, and can actually be pretty good fun!
In the home, Bailey is the perfect dog. He’s loving, loyal and full of kisses. He loves to play, although he can be very boisterous so care needs to be taken not to get him too hyped up. He’s bouncy and doesnt always know his own strength, so any children in the home must be older and sensible enough to know when to be calm with him. Bailey is a clever boy and loves to learn new things – he would benefit from an owner who enjoys teaching as much as he loves learning. Bailey loves everyone but does connect strongly with his chosen person. He can be left for reasonable periods with no issues.
Outside of the home, Bailey is fearful and anxious. Everything worries him, from cars to people to other dogs. He doesnt understand and cant process the world around him. He needs to be taken slowly and gently, with lots of reassurance. Bailey would not cope in a busy town environment; he is looking for a quieter rural home.
Bailey has a lot of energy and will need a home that can give him plenty of exercise as well as training and mental stimulation. He will need to meet you several times so that he can become familiar with you. He isnt good around other dogs – they worry him, and if he is anxious he will take out his fears on them. He cannot live with cats or small furries – he has a very strong prey drive.
Bailey is a young dog with lots of potential. If you think you can give him what he needs please fill in the form below. Homecheck and £250 adoption donation applies.
PLEASE NOTE – BAILEY IS WITH OUR NORTHERN BRANCH AND PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND.
